How to Use the Indexed Page Checker Tool

Using this tool, you can easily check whether your blog post or webpage is indexed by Google. Follow the step-by-step instructions below:

Step 1: Find the Tool

  • Go to the relevant post on my blog (where this tool is embedded).
  • You will see a box titled "Indexed Page Checker".

Step 2: Enter the URL

  • Inside the tool box, you will see an empty field labeled "Enter full URL".
  • Type the complete URL of the post/page you want to check.
    (Example: https://yourblog.com/your-post-title.html)
  • Make sure the URL is complete and correct.

Step 3: Click the Check Button

  • After entering the URL, click the "Check Indexing" button.
  • Wait for 10–15 seconds (the tool is communicating with Google to check the result).

Step 4: View the Result

The tool can show you one of the following three results:

a) If the page is indexed:

This page is indexed by Google!
- A green box will appear.
- Confirms that your URL is in Google's database.

b) If the page is not indexed:

This page is NOT indexed by Google
- A red box will appear.
- You will get a "Submit to Google Search Console" link (click it to submit the page).

c) If there is an error:

⚠️ Error
- A yellow box will appear.
- Description of the issue will be provided (e.g., incorrect URL).

Step 5: Take Appropriate Actions

  • If indexed: Great! Your SEO is working well.
  • If not indexed:
    1. Submit the page in Google Search Console.
    2. Share it on social media to create backlinks.
    3. Check again after 2–3 days.

  • You can check the same post multiple times.
